Free Homeschool Resources

Are you subscribed to HomeSchoolFreebieoftheday.com? The resources offered on this webite are great even if you don't homeschool.

Each day, Monday through Friday, they have a different downloadable freebie on their website and they have a Subscriber Exclusive Resource for this week. I have been subscribed to this list for quite some time and have acquired some great quality resources that otherwise I would not have had the opportunity to acquire.

Here is what is offered this week.


Monday, Oct 20: The Hiawatha Primer (PDF ebook)
A classic reading and nature studies primer that uses
Longfellow's epic poem, Hiawatha as its subject. Delightful
stuff, with some lovely illustrations & a variety of activities
and study topics.

Wednesday, Oct 22: Hero Tales from American History (PDF ebook)

President Teddy Roosevelt & Henry Cabot Lodge. Excellent
stories!


Thursday, Oct 23: Everyday Arithmetic (PDF ebook)
Classic arithmetic text, which applies math to everyday
uses, such as buying & selling, outdoor sports, household
matters, telling time, and much more. Wonderful word problems
& neat illustrations - a great find! Meant for grades 4 - 6.


Friday, Oct 24: Faith Lessons From The Farm (PDF ebook)
Author Penny Raine reminds us that the Lord works even in the
smallest of circumstances, and shares some of the lessons
her family has learned from farm life in this inspiring
collection.

  1. I really enjoy this resource. I have gotten a lot of really great freebies from it.

    By the way, Thanks for stopping by my blog. The stained glass project is fun, but don't be suprised if it takes you a couple of tries to get it right. Our first attempt wasn't very attractive.
