Math Mini Office
I've been reading a lot about Mini Offices and viewing other's pictures of them. I love them! They are absolutely adorable. When we first started homeschooling I had not heard of a Mini Office so when I read about them in one of the many yahoo groups I belong to I researched it.
What I figured out is that a Mini Office is 2 or 3 file folders attached together with lots of different reference tools for your student strategically placed on the folders and glued. After you have placed everything onto the office that you want you can then laminate it.
The Mini Office is used by your student to provide privacy while working on schoolwork, drawing, etc. A big benefit I have found is that it helps with decreasing distractions therefore increasing attentiveness and productivity and decreasing work time!
You can find many wonderful and useful files available on the internet to use in your Mini Office or you can make them yourself using a word program or Publisher. If you are interested I can post more on what we used for our Mini Office - links, files.
My next project is a Language Arts Mini Office. I am looking for resources to use for it so if you know of any PLEASE let me know.
Warmly,
~Sara~
