This was so much fun to put together! We did a 'double' lapbook for this one. We also added a Dominoes Addition Pocket by making an envelope, printing out dominoes (from www.first-school.ws and then laminating them so they could withstand being used over and over.
Here are a few pictures of our finished project.

How neat to see this lapbook! I am over on the HSS yahoo group and have been thinking of doing this lapbook with my oldest. I'll be showing her the pics and seeing if she's game. Thanks!

I just love this it is so cute. I like how it's interactive for the child.

Hi Jennie, thank you! It is so interactive for the child...it really helped with getting those addition facts memorized! And the best part was it was fun for her. Thanks for coming by!

I saw these lapbook patterns on homeschoolshare.com last summer and didn't save them. Apparently, the creator asked the website to take down those PDFs, but she left up the subtraction ones. I have searched the web to see if she is selling them, but I cannot find them or her. Do you still have the PDFs? If so and you would be willing to email them to me, I would be ever so grateful! Let me know.
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteDo you still have the link you used for the addition lapbook? The dominoes is a really good idea. We adopted a child with special needs and I am trying to find something to help him with math. The link to the addition lapbook is gone. May I use yours?.
I appeciate anyhelp you can give me.

Thanks for posting this! I found the template on homeschool share, but wasn't sure how to fit it all together. This was really helpful.
